General Questions
1. What is an e-bike?
An e-bike, or electric bicycle, is a bicycle equipped with an electric motor that assists the rider’s pedaling power. This motor provides additional power to make riding easier, especially when climbing hills or traveling long distances. E-bikes can be ridden like conventional bicycles, with the motor offering different levels of assistance depending on the rider’s needs.
2. What is an e-scooter?
An e-scooter, or electric scooter, is a two-wheeled vehicle powered by an electric motor and a rechargeable battery. It is designed for urban transportation and offers a fast and environmentally friendly way to travel short to medium distances. E-scooters typically feature a standing platform, handlebars for steering, and various safety features such as brakes and lights.
3. How do e-bikes and e-scooters work?
Both e-bikes and e-scooters use rechargeable batteries to power an electric motor. E-bikes assist the rider’s pedaling with a motor that provides additional power depending on the selected level of assistance. E-scooters, on the other hand, use a throttle to control the motor’s speed, allowing the rider to accelerate and decelerate as needed. Both types of vehicles are equipped with controls to adjust speed and monitor battery life.
4. What are the benefits of using an e-bike or an e-scooter?
E-bikes:
- Reduced physical effort, making cycling accessible to a wider range of people.
- Greater range and higher speeds compared to traditional bicycles.
- Cost-effective means of transportation, especially when compared to cars.
- Environmentally friendly, as they produce no emissions.

Usage and Maintenance
1. Is the eBike waterproof?
Our eBikes are designed with IPX5 water resistance for the exterior, which means they can withstand light rain, splashes, and wet road conditions during normal riding.
However, the bike/scooter is NOT fully waterproof.
Which parts are NOT waterproof?
Internal electronic components — including but not limited to:
- Controller
- Wiring and connectors
- Display interfaces
- Motor electrical components
These parts must not be exposed to water, submerged, or cleaned using high-pressure water.
2. Can I wash the bike with water?
- Do NOT use high-pressure washers or direct water spray
- Do NOT pour water onto the controller, battery compartment, or display
- Clean using a damp cloth instead of running water
3. How do I properly care for the battery?
To ensure optimal performance and extend battery lifespan, please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid charging the battery in freezing temperatures.
When the ambient temperature is below 0°C (32°F), the battery may not charge fully, and charging efficiency will be reduced. - Cold temperatures affect both charging and discharging.
In sub-zero conditions, battery output power and riding range may decrease, and performance may be limited. - Store the battery in temperatures above freezing.
The battery must be stored in a dry indoor environment above 0°C (32°F). Exposure to freezing temperatures may result in permanent battery damage. - Allow the battery to warm up before charging.
If the battery has been exposed to cold conditions, bring it indoors and wait until it reaches room temperature before charging. - For long-term storage, keep the battery charged between 40%–60% and recharge every 1–2 months.
Warranty Notice:
Battery damage, reduced capacity, charging issues, or performance degradation caused by improper storage, exposure to freezing temperatures, or environmental misuse by the customer are not covered under warranty.
4. Do I need to remove the battery when charging?
No, the battery does not need to be removed during charging.
However, for safety and proper operation, please ensure that:
- The battery power switch is turned OFF
- The eBike or eScooter is completely powered OFF
Charging the battery without following these steps may cause electrical damage or charging abnormalities.
Warranty Notice:
Any damage, malfunction, or performance issue caused by failure to follow the correct charging procedure is considered improper use and is not covered under warranty.
