Throttle Becomes Unresponsive – Troubleshooting Guide
The most common cause is a brake lever reset problem.
1. Inspect the Throttle & Cables
- Accidentally turned off the throttle (press the power button three times in a row to turn the throttle off and on)
- Check for visible damage on the throttle and cables.
- Ensure all connectors are securely plugged in.
2. Check the Brake Light
If the brake light stays on without pressing the brake, unplug the left or right brake handle cable connectors one at a time.
3. Identify the Faulty Brake Handle
- Unplug one brake handle cable at a time (do not unplug both at once, or the P gear won’t release).
- If unplugging the left brake cable turns off the brake light, the left brake handle is faulty.
4. Adjust the Brake Handle Screw
- Reconnect the brake handle cable.
- Use a 2mm Allen wrench to tighten the screw (turn 1-2 times clockwise).
- Observe the brake light—if it stays off, the issue is resolved.

5. Test the Throttle
